U14/U15 combined & U17/U18 combined Boys Teams forming

If you are a U14, U15, U17 or U18 boy player and interested in playing club soccer, please plan on attending a try-out on Monday, July 6th at 6:00 p.m. at Ridgecrest Elementary.

U14 - (8/01/95 to 7/31/96)
U15 - (8/01/94 to 7/31/95)
U17 - (8/01/92 to 7/31/93)
U18 - (8/01/91 to 7/31/92)

Amarillo Lightning members, please join us on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Sports World Amarillo located at 9400 Canyon Drive, next to the Hollywood Theatre, for our 2009-2010 ALSC Signing Party.  Families and Friends are invited for a BBQ beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Purchase Unlimited Wrist Bands to enjoy all Sports World Attractions for $12 per person from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

The Duke Family will generously make a donation back to the ALSC with the revenue generated from our event.

Open Tryouts - July 1st, 2nd & 3rd

All tryouts will be at Ridgecrest Park located at W. 36th Ave. and Harmony Street.  Click here for map of location.

All players need to wear shorts, tshirt/jersey, and socks. Also bring shin guards, water, and appropriate soccer shoes.

A parent or guardian must sign their child in and also receive a fact sheet from the club per NTSSA Rules and Bylaws.

Teams playing in Dallas Leagues!!!

The 95 Girls, 94 Girls and 93 Girls will be trying out to play in the Lake Highlands Girl’s Classic League.

The 96 Girls will be playing in the Arlington Premier Invitational League beginning the Fall 2009/Spring 2010 season.

The 97 Boys will be playing in the Arlington Premier Invitational League beginning the Fall 2009/Spring 2010 season.

Good luck teams as you continue your long term development and prepare to compete in the Dallas area leagues.

Coach Cindy Piper is the newest addition to the Amarillo Lightning Soccer Club. Cindy's experience as a Division 1 girls coach affirms the club's standing as the best coached club in the area.  Coach Cindy will coach the 99 (U11) Girls and 93 (U17) Girls teams.

Amarillo Lightning announces their plans to take Boys and Girls teams to Europe in the summer of 2010 to participate in several tournaments.

Amarillo Lightning's desire is  to provide international experience in an atmosphere of total soccer immersion while at the same time, enjoying the thrill of competing against and mixing with soccer players from all over the world.
