Accountable Player Development Minimize

ALSC provides each and every child carefully monitored and recorded tests covering strength, fitness and soccer's essential technique topics. This is the basis for forming a key and solid foundation. This is in addition to the standard weekly team practices, thus providing a solid and accountable environment for the club and an expectation that each player and parent should expect for their child.

Attention to detail for each player expands to provide mental and emotional developmental support through private game related questionnaire(s) when needed.

Individual and detailed player evaluations are provided by the coach each and every season.

Each player within ALSC shall receive:

  • Technqiue recorded testing 2 times per season
  • Fitness, core strength recorded testing 2 times per season

I.T.D (Individual Technical Development)

2 v 2 and 4 v 4 stations - Attendance is rewarded and recorded with the four key vital areas of player development. Players' results are the focus.

  • Technical speed – All general ITD topics are performed at correct game tempo; increase in heart rate, maximum involvement on and around the ball.
  • Tactical Speed – Angle of support, when to press, general movement around the ball, and  freedom of intelligence.
  • Pure speed – 2 points; recovery and reaction to the flow. Questions posed.
  • Mental speed – Reaction, focus and emotional control during intense play. Again, with raised heart rate. Sports science studies show most efficiency is to have heart rate up to 90-94% of maximum heart rate consistently during play.

Other I.T.D monitored stations

  • Footwork/ball relationship – In tight area/space. Always with right and left foot and all surfaces in restricted space (again tested area.)
  • Juggling area – Right and left foot, head, chest, restricted use of knees. Cover playing off one bounce.
  • Passing and receiving – On the floor, thigh height and head height. Attention to detail of open body, punch technique and moving forward backwards for balance development.
